Very, very nice VSTAR...you've worked the distortion produced by that lens well...the colours look stunning and the composition is strong...I have that lens, how do you find its sharpness on the K1.

thanks for all the compliments, greatly appreciated.
Photomax7- only used the lens on 2 occasions o my last vacation. Was impressed with the results on the K1. As others have mentioned on the site, the lens is not a fish eye and performs visually quite different at the 2 ends of the focal length range. Funny thing about this lens....bought it from someone advertising it on kijiji at the other end of Canada. Was advertised as being in excellent condition and we agreed I would purchase it from her on ebay. Got the lens..everything was excellent...except for aperture control lever on the back- it had been bent 45 degrees and stuck. Turns out the seller had lent it out 2 years ago, it was damaged, and she never noticed it. So..thought I could try to disassemble and see if it was repairable. Managed to do it but I do not relish ever assembling one like it again-smallest springs and contacts I have ever seen. Must have put it back together properly based on the photo.

Regards, David

Thank you, appreciated.
My wife had no idea she was in the photo until I printed it. Now she asks everyone...”do you know who that person is...me”.
