Peepers meets SWMBO's Mother's Day Dinner! She didn't want to have anything to do with it until after it was cooked and broken down properly.

She really acted sketchy when it wiggled its antenna at her. She loved the tamale though. I had a T-bone since I don't even like lobster much.

I love that second shot - every time I look at it, I get a big smile!

Nice photos - but not surprising. Cats are wired to be predators - they don't know what to do when another animal shows aggressive tactics .... our's even backed off for a while when a mouse charged instead of retreated.

Very cute! And wise of the cat not to approach.

The last time I did it she wasn't quite as scared, but she should have been since I cut off the rubber bands on the primary claws first!

I also prefer the second shot, with the cat just entering the frame at the top and better alignment with the pattern on the flooring. The stark repeating pattern of the flooring effectively contrasts with the cat and lobster and by cropping to keep everything else out of the picture gives it nice simplicity. The second shot is great in my opinion.
