Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge
Lens: HD DA 55-300 F4-5.8 ED WR Camera: K-3ii Photo Location: Thruxton, UK ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/640s Aperture: F9

These are from the Protyre Motorsport Ginetta GT5 Challenge race on Saturday 19th May at the first corner. There had been uneventful qualifying, but no.40 tried to cut in where there was no room and caused a prang in the middle of the pack. There was a full restart, about 5 cars were missing.

I've only another 2000 photos to delete or process, they do mount up over a whole day.

I find the observers to be as interesting as the action. I'm glad you didn't crop them out.

This was on the Saturday of the Royal wedding, so less busy than Sunday, the raceday. Could not avoid the marshals, and spectators were reasonable in number so we could more around the track which was great.
