Guardian of the Lettuce Box
Lens: DA*50-135 f/2.8 SDM Camera: KP Photo Location: Liberty, Maine ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F3.2

A fun one of a pottery frog in our window box, and as I have posted before, my neighbor's building (an old potato barn used as a flea market type store,) has a very well established bee hive in the wall. This has been an ongoing thing for at least three years now. Heavy crop of the hole the bees have established and shows the honeycomb proper. And my cat curled up on my second office chair.

Are you saying the bees started with a tiny hole which they have enlarged to this enormous slit??

No the wood is just somewhat rotten and came off in a storm but the hole in the wallpaper may have been started then but has been widened and lengthened by the bees since then. Just by all the pollen on the paper you can see they bump it.
