Fiddle head
Lens: Sigma 500/4.5 Camera: K-3 Photo Location: Ottawa, Ontario ISO: 400 Shutter Speed: 1/500s Aperture: F7.1

In search of some birds in the forest but found these fiddle heads rather attractive.

Bracken fern plant is this? We have Broken and looks the similar as ours in Australia. Good job on the photo and sharing, thank you.

Spring is a great time to capture nature in detail. It's a lovely photograph.

Had sautéed fiddle heads as my vegetable with my dinner tonight! Wife did them up with onions, garlic and mushrooms as an accent. Yum! And they grow wild her so in late May in Maine, fiddleheads are for eating!
