Northern Blue Iris
Lens: AF Tamron 70-300mm tele-macro Camera: K-70 Photo Location: Lake Perez,PA ISO: 800 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F8

The Northern Blue Iris (Iris versicolor) is one of my favorite spring flowers. This one was growing along the edge of Lake Perez, in Penn State University's Shaver's Creek Environmental Area. Used the macro setting on the Tamron.

That is really wonderful photography. The flower is so lovely it is mesmerizing. Great job.

Very nice, Joel. I have the Sigma equivalent of that lens and really like it.
