Turkey Vulture.

Heavily cropped. Harsh midday sun. 400 ISO. But he posed nicely so what the Hell.

Good one, I had a group of about 9 or ten soaring around the other day, Seems a bit early for fledglings I would think. but the fireflies were flashing last night so maybe summer really is here.

I have a whole colony of Black Vultures and Turkey Buzzards that roost in my back neighbor's huge fir trees. None of them have co-operated for a shot like this..........very nice!

This one and others were hanging out on our back fence. Took a few long distance shots and inched my way forward and took a couple more. Etc, etc. They took off while I was still pretty far away.
