Marmot Country
Lens: Pentax SMC DA 55-200mm Camera: Pentax K-3 Photo Location: Rocky Mountain National Park ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F5.6

The marmots were out in force scrambling around the rocks of the alpine tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park as a storm rolled in over the Memorial day weekend.

Thanks for the kind words! I wish the Pika images were half this good , but they are far too small and quick for me to get close enough with a 200mm.

You may not see the pikas, but you can certainly hear them
In some places they're pretty friendly (think touristy areas) but in the wild they like to hide.
