Still playing with Efex Silver Pro...

This is the latest use of Efex. Again, this is experimentation. I want to believe that it's worth the $200, but I also want to believe I can better spend the money on a new DA 35 macro. Comments & critiques are, as always, welcome.

Yes, please do post the preEfex picture. I am also interested in this program and also concern about taking away from my lens budget. From what I see so far: Very interesting. I like the texture.

I like the effect, but the vignetting in the upper corners isn't consistant with the bottom, is it a lens artifact or was it PP that was done pre-crop? (or is it not vignetting at all and just the way the light was falling on the wall?)

Probably a bit of both. I used one of the Efex filters but suspect the lighting in the original just magnified the effect. That can, of course, be corrected for in both Efex using the nifty point tool as well as PS.,
