What was so good about treated wood ?
Lens: DFA 150-450 +tc 1.4 hd Camera: K3 Photo Location: Lancaster ISO: 3200 Shutter Speed: 1/320s Aperture: F10

Luckily for me , this acorn woodpecker was engrossed in probing the cracks of a guard rail post and not too concerned with me . I was able to take two pics and leave without disturbing this bird .

I wonder how long they normally 'work' before realizing that this one won't work for some reason; other than treated wood, I wonder how much bug-free wood they encounter.
