Nature bees, breeze & lavender

Same view with a few different lenses at around 100mm, all shot with K-50 on modified Bright setting & iso100 on a breezy day.
Images are cropped and lightly sharpened to get the best out of the busy breeze-battered bees.

SMC-M 100/2.8 shot at f/5.6 - brightened about 1/3 stop

Sigma 28-200mm 'Aspherical IF'

Very nice captures! your lavender is well into bloom and mine is doing absolutely nothing!

We had a very odd May, warm and dry. We've had more rain in the last 36 hours than all of last month

Nice to be back in full Pentax uniform - including the Forum t-shirts!

I'd hoped for a K-s2 but the budget stalled; no matter, I've had a K-50 before so it fits nicely.
I've been loitering in the m43 subforum with a Lumix GX1, which I'll keep for video and random snaps.
