Stayed at a friend's guesthouse at the seafront of Sandakan Town in the East Coast of Sabah (Malaysia) during the last weekend in August. Got up early one morning and watched the sunrise scenes unfold....

I really like the small waves in the last photo, great at leading the eye up into the shot.

I really like the colors in #'s 1&2, and I like the composition of #3, like heliphoto said it draws you right in. If I were to change anything it would be to level the horizon (shoreline?) Those are beautiful pictures!! I'm glad you were able to capture them so well.

Thanks. These were hand-held shots. Ageed, should have levelled the horizon levels via post processing.
