Just a bee on a flower...
Lens: Sigma 70-300 Macro Camera: K-50 Photo Location: Golden, BC ISO: 200 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F8

Norm told me to go out with this and try it's close up ability, and I find it's generally good to listen to his advice. I went out and took quite a few and the lens did perform well.
Now here's a bee on a flower:

If norm told you to do it, then it was a good idea!

Honestly, though, I'm not very fond of this particular image ... something to do with the bee, but I'm not quite sure.
Maybee it's just the orientation, maybee it would look better if you'd gone with with a higher ISO and shutter speed, maybee its just too dark?

added: Just as I pressed the button to post this comment, my wife came by and said "That's pretty" ... so obviously I'm wrong

I tend to agree, somethings not quite right, but I'm not sure what. This was probably the best of the bunch so I posted it, all recommendations are completely welcome

Very nicely done. I do believe there is a current trend to leave photographs slightly underexposed. I am not certain I agree with the trend, however it does retain sharpness and colors.
