These are really good pictures! I'm surprised the K-01 produced these in such lighting; you really are getting it to produce.

Thanks all!
@reh321 the K-01 has the same sensor of K-5, K-30 and K-50... so it's still a mighty fine platform
Apart from that, I'm a sucker from extracting the last ounce of performance, and I prefer to risk difficult shutter speeds, pixel peep on the LCD screen and repeat if necessary.

1. Sigma 10-20mm @18mm f/4.5, 0.3", ISO 1600
2. Sigma 10-20mm @20mm f/4.5, 1/4", ISO 1600
3. Sigma 10-20mm @20mm f/4.0, 1/4", ISO 1600
4. 40mm XS @ f/4.0, 1/15", ISO 200

Yeah, but I don't get great high ISO performance from my K-30, and I don't particularly enjoy PP.

I do... it's like re-living the experience of the trip/visit/event once again
Plus, by shooting RAW (and knowing how to do it), I can get the most out of its sensor.

Another beautiful series. I’ve been to Venice and I really like your viewpoint. I’m trying to be more creative with my travel pictures and seeing these help me to think out of the box

TY!
I found that Venice, like most coastal towns, really changes face depending on the season. It's completely different in winter than in summer.
But it's also markedly different by night than by day, so you have lots of combinations.
My parents went during the carnival once, and they brought back completely different pictures, completely different atmosphere.
They also took pictures of Venice in winter but not during the carniva. Again, completely different mood.
