Yes, well seen. If I do get a zoom someday, it will be a short-range like this one. Sort of a prime, with a bit of leeway on each side.

I took a while to work out exactly how to properly shoot that perspective. And I'm still learning that particular lens.

That's mostly how I see this lens. It's meant to replace my DA21mm now that I'm using full frame almost always. The 21 is better at what it does, but the 20-35 appears to be close and offers more flexibility. The short focal range means that it's almost a prime indeed.
