What the....Heron? Or...? · **1 Like**

So, I see this bird flying around, and it's crest, and orange feet, and blueish body, and I think..."Wow, that's lovely." So, I take a few shots. Then I think, "Yes...but a lovely...WHAT...exactly?"

Lovely bird. Anyone know what it might be?

It's an interesting bird, and my bird book has grown wings and flown away recently, so I can't help with that

I'm sure someone will come along shortly and name it

I think you're right! A juvenile green heron! He / She is out of it's range for the time of year, it seems.
