Great Capture!! I tried to photograph a hawk on a utility pole but every time my camera showed he flew to the next pole down. After doing this scenario two more times he flew away. Talk about camera shy!

The big eye of a long lens seems to make wild animals feel they are being watched by an even bigger predator. A friend who raises European Red Deer (Basically an Elk) took many days of me taking their pictures before showing less worry and fear when I was around. They won't come for grain if I am too close even though they are now tolerating my presence with a camera.
