Nature Stare down!

I was attempting to photograph birds in my backyard when I almost stepped on this guy. Since it was a cool morning, he wasn't moving much which gave me the opportunity to get up close and personal. I was able to get to minimum focus distance which is pretty close...

Thought it was a Snake at first until I saw the legs in a second shot. Sharp crisp and very detailed.
