Now that's quite a spectacular image.

Please don't tell all the tale of up before sunrise, in fact set off in the middle of the night, guided on a 12 hour hike, by just a feeble head torch etc etc.

Nope...just a coach trip to get up there...thanks for commenting Kerrowdown...could have been even more interesting shot as a paraglider with passenger came into view shortly after taking this shot...I had switched to a longer lens by then so close ups only.

It's more fun with a story like that - just as kids joke that their parents walked to school in the snow uphill in both directions.
