At another photo discussion forum where I'm a regular, there are continual discussions between those of us who like to see EXIF data and those who treat it like a state secret. When they something like "you weren't there, so you don't know what the light was like" or "I changed every thing in PP", they are missing the point; they are thinking in terms of exposure only. In computer terminology, some settings are "over loaded' {have more than one effect}, and it is excellent practice to look at EXIF to gain more insight, because shutter speed controls how it handles motion and aperture controls DOF - things which typically cannot be "fixed" in PP.
