Growing the Vine in the black volcanic soil of Lanzarote, Canary Islands, Spain.

I like the composition and the colors (few but well-organized in big chunks).
What are those curved wall for? protection from heavy winds, volcanic ashes..?

It's a condensation trap to keep the soil moist as it rarely rains there...they run all the way up that hill to the right...thanks for commenting LensBeginner.

Interesting pic. A very alien looking landscape. I couldn't place it in "Spain" so I had to Google it. Canary Islands explained all.
