Spotted this colorful Green Heron along the C&O Canal.

Thank you. I cropped a turtle out of the right corner because i found it distracting but it works for me.

The Heron's head is faintly reminiscent of a Marlin. Great pix, exceptional composition and very sharp.

Great photo ! I never see these unless they are mostly in some bulrushes .
