Playing with my new (at least to me) K3 with a manual 50mm lens, the cat decided it was tea time. This is him mid meow.

My comment was going to be close to the journeyman cat wranglers. I really like his coloring and beautiful blue eyes. Diagonal lines and DOF make this an exceptional kitty shot. Nice job.

Thanks DW58, this shot was one those more good luck than good management situations. I was wandering around the house trying out different lenses on my new toy and there Monty (the cat) was. Lucky the manual lens was wide open, lucky I had already an appropriate shutter speed so it a quick focus and shoot.
