A lot of interesting features here for the eye to roam around on.
Blue vs red. Hat vs . . . uh, phone. Arm vs pole. Round shapes vs skeletal arm. Hat vs everything else. And more.
Intriguing shot. Thanks.

I'm just in a compositional rebel phase at the moment... normal service will be resumed shortly.

I agree.

The one "quibble" I have is that I would prefer a little more space above the hat - it just feels too constrained to me, but that may just be me.

I'm surprised no one has commented on the two huge ... floats hanging in the right half of the scene. I don't think I've ever seen such an impressive pair and they make the wiry guy in the strange blue hat look very small in comparison.

Upon closer examination, you may be right. In that case, all I will say is that the hat doesn't do much for her feminine features, but it is less strange on a woman than on a man. Once I saw the pair of big floats hanging there, I didn't pay much attention to the rest of the picture.

I’ve actually got more room on the negative.

I’ve just cropped in tight to try a balance the muckle bourach of this image a little.

The implied innuendos here, make me frightened to comment.
