I am very facinated by the old houses covered by tiles.

Great picture!

It is very common in Portugal to have tiled houses and especially churches with the beautiful Azulejo.

Do-It-Yourself architecture has a natural organic quality that makes you feel at home, something the planners can never achieve, very well captured.

Slated walls were quite common around here but that was to keep storm driven rain out,

Love the extravagant colors coming from the right and the monochrome to the left. Then there are the incongruous satellite dishes in the center. A fascinating image indeed. Thanks.

Outstanding, Janse. A delightfully colorful composition. The contrast between the tile covering the buildings and the satellite dishes is very interesting.
