Landscape Storm Damage

My Plum tree when I woke up this morning. We have gotten a lot of rain today, over 7 Cm or about 3 inches so far. I heard a big crack but it was dark so I did not even look outside last night. Just lucky it missed the car!

Don't that just chap yer hide ? We had an elm tree miss our house three years ago .

I am pretty certain I can. Going out now to saw, then melt some grafting wax to cover the damage. Picked the wax up while it was still raining yesterday. 3+ inches!
