Good lighting created good detail in the shot.

A photo that'd make a great cover for a jazz album - made me think of the cool, dry sound of Paul Desmond's alto (an observation that obviously dates me).

A black and white portrait of a very lovely young lady. I see she has freckles, does she also have red hair? Well done, sir and thanks so much for posting.

Thanks for your comments. The light was pretty much awesome with the sun peaking through the leaves. Helped to have a very photogenic young woman too.

Appreciate your comments, thanks. Yep, she does have red hair. I just posted a color image. A very beautiful half-Aussie, half-American Indian girl.

Great comment. And as I've been a jazz trombonist for over 50 years I totally agree. Thanks!
