Thank-you both for posting your photos. Everything was wonderful, color, style, content, just everything. Is the first photo of the two of you walking into venice? If so, is the fact that you were in costume make it any easier to take pictures of the other people on the street?

Thanks a lot for your first favorable impressions.
It was really very enjoyable day we spent in Venice. And for me that was the first real test of new 77 and 50 lenses.

Louis, Kjask was only joking with prefatory sentence. It would be impossible to take photos in such costumes with all we had with us, or at least not for the whole day. As a matter of fact it is easy to take photos of the masks as they are generously posing. The only problem is the crowd of visitors during the carnival days. Therefore we went there on Friday to avoid a terrible week-end crush, but during the working days there aren't so many masks.

Amazing serie! Venice is a city I would love to visit again. It just rains too often and the cost of staying is too dear for me when I visited the place 3 years ago.

Great stuff. You made quite an entrance and looking through the pictures didn't leave me dissapointed.

Picture No: 3 in the first post is my favourite, just for the sake of having one. I liked all the captures with colors and shapes as made for getting depicted. And I think you succeeded very well with this.
