A good photo of a great looking bird! You can see why owls are the dominant birds.

Great pix of the phantom of the north, as Great Grays are sometimes called. They are our provincial (Manitoba) bird and not common to see. A few years ago in my area there were a number of them appearing in the south eastern part of the province and I got a few pics of these magnificent predators. But, then the next winter they weren't there in this area.

You caught a wonderful expression in your photograph.
