Nature Sunflower in Raleigh

Sunflower in Raleigh · **1 Like**

Taken at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh. It was the site of a mental institution from around the 1850's. Now it is a local park.

Went out there about midday because we were in the area. WAY too hot and we only stayed about 15 minutes. Hope to make it back when the weather is a little cooler...

I was going to say "Looks like Kansas" - but it doesn't - Kansas isn't that green
