Yes, its the newest one... also have HSM Macro...which I believe the older version did not. Very quiet focus and guick even in low light. So far so doos though I have many lenses that can take equally as good a shot... This one just looks mean on the K10 even with the crip... "Me big Shooter" haha.. Cheers and thank you for commenting. I really like the second one Jimbo but the first one doesn't look so good on my screen. Maybe it lost something when you downloaded it, I know you have had problems like that before. The upper portion of the shot looks very soft to me.

Gary: The upper is a water relection and I did loose soem on the compressed file when loading. I printed that one out and it looks fine. I will post a link later so you can see on a larger format. Cheers and thank you for commenting. JIMBO

I'm glad to hear that's the new one, because I've been considering purchasing it. These images certainly aren't helping the thickness of my wallet....

You say it looks mean on the K10D....any shots with it mounted?? I'd love to get an idea of the size of it...

Hey Jimbo, Nice shots. I like the second much better.

Wish we could have met up on sunday it was a incredible afternoon.

Keep up the good work. You were going to let me know what program you were using to frame your pictures in.

I use Elements 6 for framing the shots. If you need help, let me know. JIM

I really like the second one. Argh, I need to keep telling myself that I don't need this lens (given I already have the 50-135mm)...
