He actually copped the whole forearm, probably a hairline fracture, concussion and missing two teeth, but jumped back up and played the game, Jpzk!

They make 'em tough in the northern suburbs.

I'm afraid the culture is that is a sign of weakness, Reh, so only a couple of players over the years have put on thin leather helmets.

No one at all in the professional league, currently.

Reh makes a good point above … Australian Rules is such a good sport for us photographers because helmets aren't worn, we can see the emotions of the players.
