I don't think I've ever had quite so close a look at a chicken. You and your camera clearly got the focusing right

Thanks! I this was with the 55-300 HD WR, I find that lens has a neat rendering, especially up close.

Thanks! Lots of out takes to get one of these shots. The chickens move around a lot.
