Capture in the Evening Sun

Thanks to all for the kind words! Yes it is a city park. It was the site of a former hospital, Dorothea Dix . They did have the sunflowers planted on private property (last year) along the greenway but they couldnt keep people out of it. This year its on park property for everyone to enjoy. They are going to make bio diesel out of it, I think.

Nice backlighting on the flowers and like others said, its nice seeing the enjoyment in the subjects faces

Thanks pent axe!

The contrasting bright backlight and dark clouds worked well. There were alot of people out and about. For most pics i was trying to isolate the flowers with no distractions (people) in the background, with the exception of pic 1 above.

The dynamic range of the K5IIs and shooting in raw really allows a lot of room for adjustment. Great camera.
