A few macros...
Posted By: mikerigel, 09-15-2008, 01:32 AM

This is my latest batch, all taken while on vacation in the French Alps.
I used the K20 and the Vivitar series 1, 105mm f/2.5 macro. But I also used the sigma 17-70mm for some shots.

1/125s f/8.0 at 70.0mm iso100

1/90s f/16.0 at 100.0mm iso800

1/45s f/13.0 at 100.0mm iso200

1/45s f/13.0 at 100.0mm iso200

1/30s f/16.0 at 100.0mm iso200

1/45s f/11.0 at 100.0mm iso200

Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.

these are well done, Mike. I like the first one best because of the colors and composition.

Love the first shot. Catching those little blue butterflies is a challenge at the best of times, but to get a mating pair so well composed is great.
