A nice series of MW shots. I prefer the last illuminated tree shot.
This is something I am going to try out as winter comes on, the M 50mm f 1.7 or DA 40 wide open being my only real tools for the job.

Thank you, All are camera direct jpegs, no cropping, no photoshop, no post-processing. The K-1 truely is a beast.

You really need to give it a go, it's really rewarding to get some shots of the sky.

For these , I had to wait until the new moon, so as to have the least light polution, I travelled about 220km out of town, into a really quite remote area, dirt road most of the way, no one living close by.

It was cold, maybe zero or 2 degrees, I don't know? But it was cold.
