Hunting a Bird of Prey is not easy .

Shot mid to late morning, not great light. Cropped out of original mage, little sharpening.

Thank you, they certainly can be a challenge, Even though the area is a wide open river inlet, they still seem to suddenly appear from nowhere with a fish, and it's a scramble to get locked on to them.

The pics is a pretty big crop, and I really need to get some new software for processing, since my old computer died, and the new one had a conniption, that meant I had to re-install everything again, I haven't had anything to use properly.

Well it is still a great photograph. Just had a thought, it would be interesting to watch this guy via Live View. Now that would really be exciting. Again, nice work and thanks for uploading.

Actually, Yes, I have thought of trying Live View, Not sure how it will work with trying to pan and running AF-C, will give it a go next time maybe. I was really thinking of trying to get video of the flight,
