Private Residence
Lens: smc PENTAX-DA FISH-EYE 10-17mm F3.5-4.5 ED[IF] Camera: K5IIs Photo Location: Oysterville, Washington ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/6s Aperture: F8

An ornate gate to a private residence near Oysterville, Washington.

Guess I should add that this is an HDR made up from three images stacked in Photoshop.

Nice - kind of "shabby genteel" look to it. Someone still lives there, right?

Did you de-fish that image? I'm assuming so...

I think it is a summer/weekend place for some rich folk from the Seattle or Portland area.

No, I had the lens at 17mm, and it doesn't get too fishy there.

I did give it a bit of HDR work and pulled the shadows in PS.

Which is ironic since the 18-135 supposedly-rectilinear lens leans {not exactly meant to be a joke} towards fishy at 18mm

It is a bit . . . . Baroque. Which Season?

LOL

I think I only watched seasons 1-3. I know it went on way past that. I enjoyed seasons 1 & 2 the most... Very spooky indeed, great sets, good acting, nice camera-work and excellent storyline... and, let's be honest, it's a guy's show... I totally dig Connie Britton and Alexandra Beckenbridge (terrifying though the latter's character may be) Interesting side-bar... she doesn't know it, but Connie Britton and I were meant to be... Yep, I like my women how I like my lenses - with character, not perfection

I don't know if you've watched it before? If not... I will say that it's not for the shy, nor the easily offended - but it's well worth watching... at least, those first two seasons are awesome (IMHO)

An episode here and there. My wife will probably bow out.

Oops. You'd better not try to get inside!

It puts me in mind of the sort of place Sherlock Holmes would go to investigate a murder. Not sure I'd want to meet the residents.
