Oh, my... that's a beautiful Chevy. I wonder how many hours went into that restoration?

Great photo, too, Racer

More time and money has been spent on that car than it cost new, to be sure.

The owner is a repeat attendee at the annual Cobra Motors barbecue and car show in Oso, Washington, having attended for many years.

Framed perfectly with a delightful background - when this car was new, I was around seven years old: a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

Tri Five Chevy Nomad wagons...they do stand out in any crowd of cars. Beautiful example, well photographed...I like how you emphasized the rear and side of this wagon...you caught the look that made this car.

I love domestic wagons, especially of the 1950's and 1970's.

My parents had a whole passel of wagons from 1958 (Ford Ranch Wagon, 1959 Chevy Parkwood (Bel Air) , 1961 Chevy Nomad (Impala), 1964 Impala wagon.

None of them had the look of the sports wagons of the Tri Five Chevy Nomad... or for that matter...the 1955-57 Pontiac Safari wagons...the Poncho version of the Chevy Nomad of that era. They were the epoch of American 'sports' wagon design, in my humble opinion.

That is a Wow! shot and the car is perfect. Just looking at the glass and trim around them tells me that they restored this car to much better than factory condition.
