Beautiful shot. It is amazing to me that a vehicle made back then can still hold up after all that time. Great job and thanks for uploading.

Thank you Tony!

By the way, I'm as old as that car, and I'm holding up pretty well.

Good deal. I am nine years older than that car and I am not holding up all that well. Like the car, I have some problems with joints. )

thnx.

I got my first driver's license the year that car was designed ... on a 1940 Chevrolet Panel. It certainly didn't look as pristine as that.

That is an interesting perspective that features the hood ornament many cars had .

Like the pix of that old Chevy. Sedan Delivery, a buddy's uncle had a a '40's Pontiac Sedan Delivery. Never saw that particular one, but alway liked the concept of the Sedan Delivery.

BTW, is that '56 Chevy SD...a resto stock or modified ?

It is mostly stock, save for paint, engine, and wheels/tires.

Well now, that looks like an effective air freshener.

Me...I've always favoured the pine tree air freshener, but that might be because I'm Canadian...and ...that my wife watches me like a hawk !!

As the song says:

" I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I sleep all night, I work all day "

I'm just too tired with a daily and nightly regimen like that...if I don't get my rest, I may do myself a mischief with a chainsaw...and that could be a heck of a mischief.
