Tree in the snow
Lens: DA 15 limited Camera: K5 ISO: 80 Shutter Speed: 1/10s Aperture: F11

From April, the last snow of the season. Stopped on the way to work and took several pictures of this old oak tree. It stands in the middle of a pasture, amazed no one has cut it down for firewood or something. These old trees that haven't been butchered are getting harder to find.

I hope to get back this fall for some color. Hopefully it will turn out as nice. Needed the 15mm to get the whole tree in the picture. My clothes were soaked from crawling in the snow when I got to work.

Decided to jump to a random page and see what photos were on it and I'm glad I did. Love this photo. Reminds me of the old oak in my parent's backyard. Always felt like it was the king of the hill as it's huge and old and also the only oak around. Always wanted a treehouse in it, but my dad would have none of that.
