Lightning strike on Lake Superior · **3 Likes**

I've had a lot of positive feedback from this as a color image, but what about B*W? It's a lightning strike on Lake Superior (3 separate storms rolling through). The light in the middle of the shot is a harbor marker, about 500 feet away from the shore. It was taken about 2-3 miles away.

I haven't seen the color image but the B&W one is very impressive!

The B&W aspect really focuses the attention on the bolt itself. You will get no static from me
