Kicking myself
Lens: K35mm f3.5 Camera: K-1ii Photo Location: Portknockie, Scotland ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: Above 6s Aperture: F11

I'm kicking myself a little. Saw the sky light up out of the window so grabbed my camera and shot off to the beach. The light was changing quite rapidly and I only got the chance of a handful of shots. It's only now I realise I left shake reduction on. it hasn't spoiled the shot overall, but I know it could have just been that bit better That'll learn me to do things in a hurry and hopefully remind me to check settings before pressing the shutter button

You're right, it's still a very good shot even if SR was left on.

Thanks guys.

That colour was only there very briefly. Here's the scene only 5 minutes later

Weather and tide looks to be very similar tomorrow and I've switched the shake reduction off in advance ...

I'd be thrilled with this shot. And of all the settings not to change, this is a very minor blip. Try shooting outdoors JPG after leaving the camera on fluorescent lighting...

ps. Your link to the other image needs fixing.

Specifically, it's "https//500" (missing the ":")

I'm still thinking SR or not... it's still a fine image with great light.

Thanks again everyone.
Well I did try again last night, but the light didn't work it's magic in the same way. SR was off this time, and it does at least confirm that the K35 f3.5 is an excellent little lens

Have you got an X marked on the ground?

Just so you can get the same excellent quality shots under different lighting conditions.

Near enough
It's only a 2 minute walk from my house so I can just pop down there. So familiar I can just put the tripod in a particular spot.

So I am more OCD than you...

I used an Ordnance Survey Triangulation Pillar for one particular project/job I was on, to ensure I was accurate everytime.
