Bee
Lens: 55-300 Camera: K-30

Two years ago, we had some kind of bee population living in a crack in the pavement between our driveway and garage. I might not have minded, but they were harassing anyone trying to get work done, so I sat out there one day with my K-30 + 55-300mm lens, trying to get some kind of photo of one as it landed or took off, so I could figure out what these critters were as the first step towards dealing with them. This was a real test of my reflexes because they were on the pavement just a moment. I never did positively identify them, and only the onset of cold weather alleviated my problem. This is the best of the photos I took that day.
