K-1 and DFA 28-105 pr DA*200

Mostly ISO 400, one 100 one 800,
f5.6 or ƒ11.

I picked up my camera on the way out the door thinking I was taking the K-3 and 55-300. Once I got across the bridge and river and started looking for subjects, I realized I had the K-1 and 28-105.

You just look for different kinds of things to shoot. To narrow it down a bit, I decided "Ok, just shoot purple things.

In the end there was a very nice sunset

And a young Whitneyite doing backflips from the raft at the town beach. (DA*200 2.8.)

I like the thought process of picking a certain type of thing to shoot. The fact that you chose purple things is pretty neat.

These are all very nice photos, but if a squirrel had crossed your path, I hope he would have been wearing a purple hat - I would hate to disqualify him on grounds of color alone.

There was more purple than anything else, which led to the thought "Why is there so ,much purple?" I decided pollinators in this part of the world must be attracted to purple.

It doesn't matter what I'm shooting if a squirrel comes, he/she is the subject.
