Flowers do come in all sizes, shapes and colors. The don't have to be spectacular to be worthy of a portrait like this.

Thanks for your comment. I agree; they're not the showiest of flowers but year after year I continue to find them a compelling subject to photograph.

I really like this photo. I figure if it is a flower, it is worth the time trying to get a good photo of it!

Thanks, Todd! There's always a mad scramble here to photograph all of the garden flowers in the summer months so we at least have the pictures to look at and cheer us up during the six months of colder and snowier weather prevalent in our part of Canada.
