Thank you for your comment, Michael. With this old lens, the choice for DOF is made easier by virtue of the fact that there is no Auto/Man switch like there is on the old Takumars; it's just so much easier to shoot wide open. Most times, it produces a pleasing, almost-painterly-like bokeh.
