Just after 4:40 am in clear but cold Melbourne sky a lunar eclipse is beginning. A quick edited shot of the eclipse just beginning. Will post more shortly.

Foiled by a bank of cloud.

Best I could get, a bit of colour at least but nothing to rave about.

Nice work, even if the clouds tried to spoil the view. At least you got to see it, no view of the eclipse from here in Canada...

The first shot is spectacular, Bruce! I didn't get up early enough to see the progress of the eclipse, only totality.

I set my alarm, but woke up at 3am, then slept thru my alarm D'oh. Missed it completely....
