Nice shot! How big was the image before cropping?

I just cropped those areas which were not covered by all 13 frames in the stack. The resulting image is 2919 x 4379 pixels, as compared to the 4928 x 3264 image size of the K-5 II. The 135mm lens was just fine to capture the moon and Mars.

Thanks Ron!

A little later, at 23:17--same gear, more light from the moon so f/4, 0.6 sec, ISO 1000, stacked from 6 frames.

And the second shot: looking sideways while we were waiting for the clouds to go away. Quite a show! K-5II, Samyang f/2 16mm, f/5.6, 8 sec, ISO 800, combined from two frames.
