1957 Porsche 357A Speedster cost $3,200 when new. This one was converted for racing by Hubert Kinzler in the mid-60's and had very good success.
1927 Bugatti Type 35B could go 130MPH. It was owned by Le Mans winner Duncan Hamilton 1947-52, and it occasionally gets out for historic races.
1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2. It raced all the endurance races including Monza, Le Mans, Sebring, Nurburgring and finished 10th overall and 2nd in class in the 1966 Targa Florio. Only 11 were built in this configuration.
